"It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage."
Costume designer Deborah Nadoolman picked the fedora so audiences would know Indy from his shadow alone, and it worked on the first film in 1981. This is the official Lucasfilm version made by Crambes in France: wool felt, pinched crown, wide grosgrain band, with the Indiana Jones stitching inside the sweatband. Size large, and it still has its original swing tag. Wear it, crease it, let it take a beating. The snake phobia is not included.
