Peter Mayhew stood 7'3" and still had to crouch through doorways on set. That physicality is what made Chewbacca feel real in a way no amount of effects could fake. The 1995 POTF2 red card Chewie was one of the first figures back on shelves after a decade of nothing, and collectors cleaned them out fast. Worth noting: the POTF2 era was infamous for making every character look like they'd spent the drought years at the gym. Chewie included. Still sealed on the Euro Tri Logo card.
