Robert Patrick landed the T-1000 partly for being lean and quick where Arnie was a tank, then sold it by gliding around barely blinking like a man who never learned how. James Cameron's 1991 sequel morphed him into liquid metal and rewrote what effects could do. This is the Pescadero Hospital cop, the one politely asking after a certain boy while flowing straight through steel bars. All the warmth of a chrome filing cabinet, and twice as hard to stop.
